Face to Face: The Oldest masks in the World. The Israel Museum Jerusalem This exhibition portrays extremely rare 9,000-year-old stone masks, all originated in the Land of Israel and are considered among the most ancient human portraits. The exhibition concludes a decade of investigative work and marks the first time that this enigmatic group will be displayed together in their birthplace. Our panoramic film creates context and places the artifacts in their original landscape helping to connect the viewer while bringing the items together as a whole rather as a collection of objects.
