Warsaw Occupation – Media Installation
A parallel media installation developed for the permanent exhibition at the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum.
The work presents the occupation of Warsaw through a wordless, large-scale visual composition. Archival footage is distributed across multiple vertical planes, forming a fragmented yet continuous spatial sequence.
Moving images unfold across angled surfaces, creating shifting perspectives between street-level documentation and aerial views of the city. The absence of narration directs attention to rhythm, movement and visual tension rather than commentary.
The installation constructs a controlled immersive environment in which archival material becomes spatial structure — allowing visitors to move within the unfolding transformation of the city.
An original sound composition accompanies the visuals, reinforcing atmosphere without guiding interpretation.
