Mixed Media Installation – Urban Prototype
A mixed-media installation combining stone elements, video mapping and sound.
The work was conceived as a spatial prototype for a large-scale urban intervention planned for the city of Rishon LeZion. Developed as a test environment, the installation examined the interaction between natural material and projected digital systems.
Physical rocks were positioned within a mapped projection field, allowing light and moving imagery to respond to irregular surfaces and volume. Video mapping transformed the stones into dynamic topographies, shifting between cartographic grids, flowing textures and layered visual states.
A composed sound layer reinforced the sense of environmental presence, positioning the installation between landscape model and immersive field.
Though the full urban project was not realized, the installation functioned as a study in scale, material response and the integration of projection-based media within public space.
