Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum
Permanent Exhibition – Monumental Media Installation
A permanent installation developed for the Ghetto Fighters’ House Museum.
The work takes the form of a monumental media corridor, where large-scale vertical projections descend from ceiling to floor, creating a continuous flow of light across the space.
Built from archival materials, the installation reconstructs everyday Jewish life in pre-war Warsaw. Historical footage and photographs are composed into a layered visual environment that surrounds the visitor, transforming documentary material into a spatial atmosphere.
The projections unfold as vertical streams — light cascading downward like suspended memory — shaping a rhythmic passage through the gallery. An original musical composition, developed from archival references, accompanies the imagery, reinforcing the sense of movement and lived presence.
Rather than presenting historical narrative as static display, the installation creates an immersive yet restrained environment — allowing visitors to walk within the texture of a city before its rupture.
