The Israel Museum Jerusalem - journeys

This exhibition taps into our desire to leave the familiar behind and head out for distant places that has stimulated journeys since the dawn of time and around the world. The exhibition invites visitors to experience many voyages, sharing the exhilaration of departure, the discovery of new and beautiful vistas, and the satisfaction of surmounting obstacles encountered along the way. The installation constructed for this exhibition enables the visitors to travel in a hot air balloon without ever leaving the ground. While laying back and looking up into the 360-dagrees large scale video they feel as if they are right up there in the sky.
